We see a profoundly different landscape for many congregations post-COVID. The dynamics of the past three years have produced new levels of challenge, loss, and heartbreak for pastors. They need encouragement and resourcing, hospitality and help, rejuvenation and hope in their vocation. With your help, Jessup University aims to respond in three very specific ways in 2023-24.
1. Our Center for Church Health will provide four pastoral coaching clinics to strengthen pastoral staff and teams. We want to design, develop, and provide six "Pastoral Coaching Clinic" webinars to support pastors and their leadership teams.
2. Our School of Christian Leadership is planning its second annual LEAD Gathering for fall 2023. This event is for pastors and staff members of churches who need to place to connect, be encouraged, and equipped. Last year's event was a highlight of 2022 for over 100 attendees.
3. We plan to launch a new Center for Bible Study in fall 2023, specifically to offer multiple (affordable and enriching) 4-6 week courses each year for lay people, "To motivate biblical literacy and deeper theological reflection within the Christian community".
Healthy pastors (and students preparing for pastorates) lead to healthy churches and healthy communities.

What Your Gift Accomplishes
Each of these three initiatives will strengthen churches from pews to platforms. It's the perfect time for Jessup (and you) to support, encourage, and invest in the churches of Northern California. We invite you to partner with us in this way. We plan to organize and offer strategic coaching webinars for pastors and students, as well as scholarships for pastors and students to participate in our 2023 Fall LEAD Gathering that was a "highlight of hospitality and renewal" for over 100 church staff members in 2022.
