How can we best prepare students for a career in Arts? Jessup Theatre has been training burgeoning actors of faith into the professional theater industry since 2013 with tremendous success. We need young men and women who are grounded in their love for Christ and desire to shine His light upon our culture.
Together, we can be the catalyst for change in the acting industry for the glory of God by investing in spaces in which these students experience the majority of their education and training on stage.
During Give:24, you can help us renovate our Performance Lab that is used for practices and second stage performances. The Performance Lab is where theatre students spend most of their rehearsal time during their tenure at Jessup. It’s also the space where we host our Second Stage Productions and audiences get to interface with our student actors in an intimate 50-seat setting.
What Your Gift Accomplishes
When we collectively raise $24,000, we will provide an upgraded lighting system, permanent pipe and drape, new carpet, more power to run our lighting as well as a new sound system. Beyond the stage, lights and sound, this space will enhance the level of excellence in productions to better prepare these students for the real-world.
