Supporting Future Difference Makers in the arts and Jessup Music students as they travel abroad
This year, Jessup Music will be taking the University Choir & Orchestra (UCO) to Europe, recording at the renowned Abbey Road Recording Studios, and touring throughout England, Belgium, and France.
Meet Tara | Tara is a senior, double majoring in Music and Theatre, and after she graduates this May, she plans to move to Los Angeles to make a difference in the entertainment industry by being a light for Christ as she pursues musical theatre, film and teaches voice lessons.
"After giving my life to Christ during my sophomore year it was like finally being able to "see in color" for the first time. My faith has grown stronger each year, and I've learned to see God in everything - from ballet classes to conduting to voice lessons. Every challenge has been an opportunity to lean on God's strength and trust in his peace.
Jessup Music and Theatre has had such a huge impact on my life, and that’s why I’m beyond excited to share that we’re raising funds for an incredible opportunity. Jessup Music is planning a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Abbey Road Studios in London, and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for all of us! This experience will allow us to expand Jessup’s presence internationally and give students like me the chance to record in an iconic studio and perform at Royal Albert Hall. But we need your help to get there!"
By making a gift to the Jessup Music initiative during Give:24, you will expand Jessup’s presence internationally and prepare a new generation of musicians to confidently go out into the world equipped with an ethical foundation to lead and inspire through music.
